Henry Big Boy 357 and 45 colt taking on steel plates.

This is my first post here and I wanted to share my latest shooting video. It is of 2 Henry rifles in a 20 degree cross fire verses hanging steel plates. We have installed low power scopes (1.5 X 5) and that does bring out the accuracy for aging eyes like mine.

These are great for teaching new shooters. This is just my girl friends first year shooting and half of those shots are hers. The video covers the first 50 rounds of my Henry colt 45. The action sure does smooth up with use.

Looks like alot of fun. I have been thinking of loading some light loads for plinking with .357 handgun bullets for my Marlin 336 .35 rem.

I already have plenty of bullets on hand for my .357 blackhawk and plenty of .35 brass. Not sure what powder I'll use though...

Friend of mine is over and we're going shooting this morning.
He wanted to know if your girlfriend has a sister?
Nice shooting to both of you, to bad our range won’t allow steel, that looked like fun.

Thanks for the comments on the shooting. I don't know if you would be interested in the Girl Friends sister, She lives in Vegas, and works as a show girl for one of the casino's. She just got divorced last week and might be going thru some type of "wild" period in her life. On second thought, perhaps you might be interested after all.

Anyways, This is the Girl Friends first year of shooting. The Henry's make it an easy job to teach someone new. I started her out with 38 specials and she has worked up to full house 357 loads. She is a professional photographer so she did understand the "freeze the picture" concept. She seems to be a natural shot.

For anyone wishing to see how bullets react to steel, please see the last swinging targets and the ground right below it. In general, if the distance is less then 50 yards, the bullet will vaporize, over that it hits and falls. I have never had any splatter from the swingers, not so with the stationary steel targets.
