s&w grips

I have a m&p in 38 special made in April of 1948. The grips were replaced with pachmyr stag horn grips at some point. I would like to replace them with original or new original style but I have no idea what to look for. This is my only s&w so I need help.
Thanks Tim

grips

Thanks Petah
At least now I know what to look for. Ebay had some but they didn't have the diamond.

I think sometime in the early seventies S&W changed the Magna grips on their K frame pistols and eliminated the diamond. They frequently show up for sale by members on the S&W forum and ebay. They usually run between $25 and $75, just depends on how good you want them to be. Be patient and what you want will eventually show up.

Hogue...

Did you check Hogue? Or maybe Jerretts?...

Craig Spegel of OR makes wood boot grips. I'm not sure which S&W revolver models he does but he's highly rated for J-frames(snubs).
