Springmom, has it hit you yet?
I dunno if this is gonna help or hurt your hunt, but man oh man is it snowing up here. Temp outside is 20 deg F actual. The should be moving before it comes in fully, however, I'd think.

Wow, has it! The weatherman said that in downtown Houston it dropped 10 degrees in 11 minutes. That will get your attention.
My guess is that it'll still be awfully windy tomorrow, but Saturday morning, look out, deer, here we come. With a big honkin' .44mag in hand (My sons think it is just soooooo cool that their mom has a .44. It's really very funny.) Springmom

Yep Springmom ever since you posted a couple of days ago about having to run your AC I have been trying to push this cold your way. It has not got above freezing in two or three days now.
Now if you could just send a little of that Texas warmth NW I would appreciate it. I wanna go to AZ. along that Colorado river about this time every year. Good luck Hunting. |

LOL! Don't have much warmth to share just now, with it being 35 degrees out!
But I'll see what I can do once it gets above 60 Springmom

Cold weather? Great! When it gets cold, deer have to use more energy to stay warm. So they have to get out and move to eat.
Go fer it! I'd try tomorrow if you can. |

HOT, and rain is on the way - - it's not any fun to hunt in this kind of weather.
Bring on some COOL weather!

Well your going to have to tell us what you got Saturday evening - maybe a trophy pic too :-)
As for the weather my wife said she was sitting at a traffic light on 99Thursday morning, in the thick of this dark cloud, and in the time span of a traffic light cycle, her dash outside thermometer display went from 74 degrees to 55 degrees. Then later during the drive there was this "thump" sound and everyone locked up their brakes as their windows immediately fogged up from a sudden burst into a different thermal zone. She said it was just crazy and had never experienced anything quite like that. I wish I was there, sounded pretty cool. Anyway, Happy Hunting. |

Thanks. Archerandshooter and I are going to be there for dawn tomorrow. I expect those first couple of hours are going to be a tad chilly (UNDERSTATEMENT!) Hopefully, the boys will be out and frisky in the cold.
Here's to having trophy pix to post tomorrow night! Springmom
