WOW Mossberg 500

I'm a proud owner of a Remington 870 Express 18" 6+1 12 gauge. However. I came across a Desert Camo Mossberg 500 Persuader 20" 7+1 12 gauge, just the other day, good deal, brand new, I had to buy it. The funny this about the Mossberg is that It has two sling attachment points, one at the bottom back of the stock, and one sticking out of the front of the magazine tube at the end of the barrel.

So I love this gun, it needs a sling... But I cant find a sling with this type of attachment http://www.publicsafetylighting.com/unmislslmoqd.html That is long enough to reach end to end on this rifle. I measured it, it needs to be At least 39" long.
Hope you guys have some good ideas for me

It sure is great owning an 870 and a 500 !

Thanx

Just find the swivels and go buy an army surplus M-60 Sling.

Any sling will do as long as you add a set of Uncle Mikes QD ( quick detach ) ends which are available from most all online sporting goods outlets. Some slings over the past few years have started to come with them already installed but not that many . Surprised you havent seen them or have them already on a sling for another gun. I only own 3 slings for over a dozen long guns I have and just switch them back and forth when I go hunting. I can only carry them one at a time anyway .

I found a great sling at Cabelas with the Uncle Mike's hardware already on there. I'll try to find the link ASAP.

EDIT: I am pretty sure this is the one I got.

Go to any local sporting good store, gun shop, or Walmart and pick up a set of Uncle Mikes QD sling swivels. They are about $5-$10, will connect to the swivel stud on the mag tube/stock, and run you sling between them. Any sling should work, but if for some reason they are too short, any nylon webbing material should work. I had some laying around along with some slides and just used those. You can buy it all for about $5 shipped from www.StrapWorks.com if you want a tan/khaki sling to match your shotgun or if you want to make a custom sling etc.

My sling is about 60". Here is a pic of my 20" Persuader to give you an idea of how long it is.
