Using existing, legal components, how would you load .25acp for Colt Vest Pocket 1906 or Browning Baby 1908 barrel length?

I'd start with very tiny fingers, since the .25ACP is a PITA to load!
Seriously, what exactly is the genesis of the question? Are there "illegal" components to reload the .25? I'd think that any "middle of the road" load would be reasonable for those guns. [This message has been edited by johnwill (edited May 31, 2000).] |

On "illegal" components: older 29gr all-brass ammo is now illegal. Likewise, duplicating the Russian 5.45 PSM round (pointed steel core bullet) would be illegal...use of mostly hard materials makes the .25acp ammo "pistol armor-piercing" to our friends the ATFreaks.
So, within the pressure and OAL and material constraints, what kind of defensive load can be cooked up? The assumption is that only a diminitive .25 (Colt Vest Pocket or similar) can be used and Keltec P32 is not considered. [This message has been edited by Oleg Volk (edited June 01, 2000).] |
