Illinois Firearm Registration

House bill HB4715 to create the Firearms registration Act. This bill if passed will require all firearms be registered and ammunition can only be purchased or possessed with a Registration Certificate identifying the firearm that the ammo is for.

Looks like it's time once again for those of you in Illinois to start making phone calls.

Doesn't have a prayer of passing. I doubt it will even get a vote, the Rules Committee is where bills go to die.

^^^^ Hope you are right.

The real problem is that there are SO many people lined up to continue efforts to nullify the intent of the Second Amendment. We have to be watchful ALL the time.

House bill 1589 just passed up here in NH...bans all private gun sales unless it is a bona fide gift from a family member.

I was under the impression that hadn't even reached the House floor yet.

The NH House Bill 1589 was killed by more than a 2-1 margin Wed, 02-12-2014. Good news for the State of NH.
