Anyone use 700X powder for .357 reloads...?

All the data I can find on the web states that 5 grains of 700X is max for the 158 grain SJHP bullets. Do any of you use 700X for the 357? Man this stuff sure burns clean like it isn't even there. Ironic but the max for 45 ACP with 700X is 5 grains too. Works in either just fine.

I always found 700X to be clean-burning, too ... although because it is so fast, I didn't use it in .357 Mag (only .45 ACP and .38 Spcl). But I got away from it, because it's really big flakes didn't feed consistently in the powder measure on my progressive press.

ditto poor metering

That said, it often makes excellent mild accuracy ammo; NOT, IMNSHO&E, for anything nearing maximum.

There are better choices.....
