Make your voice heard, or lose your gun rights!

I know this is long, but this is IMPORTANT. Please post this to other gun forums as well. If you do not live in NJ, read anyway. This WILL come to your state eventually.....

Please join pro-Second Amendment rally in Trenton this Friday (February 8).
As you might know, 43 new anti-gun legislations were proposed in NJ Legislature only within past few weeks.
NY has recently fell to anti-gun zealots because the public did not have a chance to protest. Do not let the same happen in NJ.
We need as many people as possible to show public outrage against ridiculous and anti-Constitutional laws.
If someone is charged with drunk driving, they do not propose confiscating his neighbor's car. Neither they blame AAA when a drugged up driver slams into a crowd. Why such unfairness is acceptable towards law-abiding gun owners?!
Whether you are a hunter, sportsman, or recreational shooter, you will feel pain of those proposed 43 legislations. Legislations like mandatory in-home inspection (A3676) and a required list of all household members (A3688) are outright assault on your civil rights. They are treating law-abiding gun owners worse than registered sex-offenders!
Gun grabbing zealots won't stop until they ban the last gun from the legal ownership. Criminals, of course, are excluded from gun control as they don't honor laws in the first place. Remember that all gun control laws are directed at those who abide laws.
Make sure that your voice is herd. In Trenton February 8.

Also, IMPORTANT - NJ has established NJ-SAFE commission (similar to the one in NY). Public hearings are scheduled to discuss how to deal with gun violence in NJ. New Jersey already has some of the toughest gun control laws in the country. Gun owners should not be burdened with more laws that simply punish law-abiding citizens for the criminal acts of violent and insane criminals.
Please attend these public hearings and help defend our constitutional rights in the Garden State. There will be an opportunity for public comment on these issues, limited to three minutes per person. If you cannot attend one of the meetings, please e-mail your comments to [email protected].

Then they came for the socialists,

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Catholic.
Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me."

I'm not saying that this can't or won't happen here, but we have some of the most relaxed laws on firearms of anywhere in the country and I have not heard or read anything about any of our politicians trying to change anything.

It is a silly fallacy that too many of our politicians hold that criminals actually obey laws when in truth more laws simply means it is harder for law abiding citizens to own them. Prohibition creates an environment which encourages a black market that criminals can exploit for profit.

Be aware that in almost every State there is someone working against freedom in Georgia it is State Senator Donezella James who has submitted Senate Bill 33.

The Bill would:
Prohibit ownership of so called Assault Weapons
Prohibit ownership of oversize magazines
Prohibit the selling of such weapons

Now, will this bill pass? Almost certainly not, but we need to remain vigilant are the enemy might just sneak in and steal our freedoms.

^Good to know, although I am happy that most of these bills up for consideration are bills that appear to be pro 2nd amendment. Seems like a couple of them expand on where carry is legal to include parks and places of worship. Bill to ensure that our state government can not limit firearms in a time of emergency.
