Suggestion regarding quotes
I believe vBulletin allows you to attach the Reply with Quote feature on to each individual posts. This would make it much easier to quote and follow longer threads.
I believe most of the newer versions of vBulletin have this baked in, but there is probably a way to code it into the version used here. Just a thought. Keep up the good work! Great site! |

Beezer, you're both right and wrong. The quote function is something that can be toggled on or off (it's an admin option).
It became a problem on this board, inasmuch as members would quote an entire post, some of which were (and are) quite lengthy - only to respond to one small point of the post. People wouldn't self police, by editing out everything except the point they wanted to respond to. The Staff finally responded by taking that feature away. |

Ah. Makes sense. Having read several lengthy posts, I can see how it would be a pain to deal with unabridged quotes.
