Ruger speed six repair question

I found a decent deal money wise on a Ruger speed six 3 inch blued. The only problem with it is the extractor rod spring is missing. Anyone have a good estimate of expense and difficulty for replacing the spring? Everything else is tight and in good shape.

There's a lot of old Security/Service/Speed parts out there. Honestly, I'd probably spend the bucks and send it back to Ruger for a once-over while it's being repaired.

Great gun, by the way. I've owned a Security Six for a looong time.

thanks guys, thats a good idea sending it to Ruger for the repair, I will probably see if they can refinish it also, its a little rough looking but solid and tight. The important things I guess.

I though that I read that Ruger did not repair the Six series any longer. You might want to check.
