Got to Love Cheap Bullets
Took the new 6.5x55 Husky out today, conjured up some mid range loads, with Nosler Partiojns, barnes TSXs, Sierra 160SMPs and my usual match loads with scenars and match kinks...
The winner? The Sierra 15 bucks a box 160 SMPs, grouping five shots in 1.5 inches on a blustery windy day...trigger on this rifle is horrible! Next up...Barns TSXs at about 2... Funny, my match scenar load didnt shoot at all, but then turned a .4 inch 5 shot group out of my sniper rifle... Got a feeling that this Husky is not gonna like lighter bullets...it sure doesnt like Noslers.. Anybody ever shot game with a Sierra roundnose? WildstillgottodomegaslostriversandnormasAlaska |
