Equipment Recommendations for Camp Perry Rifle Match
I'm thinking of going to Camp Perry this August 2-3 to participate in the Springfield and Garand "standard military issue" rifle matches.
The course of fire includes standing and prone shooting. I know the range is uncovered and the weather can be all over the board. What kind of gear will I need/want/wish-I-had-brought to compete? Any info and recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

winkRifle (s) with at least 2 magazines (Garands use an en bloc clip, you will need at least two, a two round modified is nice to have as is a single round for slow fire) Sling (get a good one, Turner, or Les Tam , etc) Shooting Mat Shooting Coat Spotting Scope with stand Shooting stool or box Ear and Eye protection Bug Juice Sight Blackener RAIN GEAR Ammunition or Money for Ammunition Cleaning Equipment Zeros for your rifles and ammunition A positive attitude A preparedness to rub elbows with the finest people on the earth, competitive shooters Yours in Marksmanship Michael (This list does not include the hutment addendum and is not all inclusive but should get you started in the right direction)
