Suppressors and compensators
Is there a way to add a supressor or comp to a normal old tapered hunting barrel? Yes, I know, check my local laws... And if I do, wilk the rifle need to always use subsonic ammo?

Yes it can be done.
You can shoot regular super sonic ammo with supressor... it will have the sonic crack. Compensator will just help to minimize the muzzle rise and that's not a issue with hunting rifles. |

Yes you can add one to the tapered barrel. You will need to have a gunsmith remove the barrel and thread to accept a supressor. When they do this they remove some of the taper, towards teh end of the muzzle there isnt that much taper.
