Looking in the cabinet I have on hand
If I see a load I want to try that I don't have the powder for I get it. Even though there 'old fashioned' a person could probably get by with just Unique,2400 and Bullseye if they had to. This reminds me I've got to get some Trail Boss and try it out.

W231 - Universal pistol powder with low flash and easy metering. Lots of load data for a wide variety of calibers. quick powder not for max loads.
Power Pistol - I may replace with AA#5, HS-6, WSF or something with lower flash. Meters easy. Medium power loads. H110 - magnum pistol, meters pretty good, but requires 90% to 100% loads. Haven't tried the old school Clays, Unique, 2400, Herco, Bullseye, Red Dot, Blue Dot stuff. I like easy metering. I use W231 in my 41magnum for lo-po rounds. Hard to use up these pistol powders as I shoot about once a month with about 300-500 rounds.
