someone recently gave me a Whippet model c 12 gauge shotgun. It has a a picture of a whippet dog on it and was made by H S B & Co. I know it's not worth any thing, but I would like to get some info on it. thanks

We need more details to identify. Is it a single barrel, double barrel or repeater (pump, lever, semi-auto)? Exposed hammer(s)? Damascus barrel(s) or steel? Any other markings anywhere? Just offhand I would say that this is a "spec" or trade gun made up for a store or company. |

most whippets i'm familiar with are double barrel pistols miostly in 20 gauge. Those are destructive devices, other.
