300wsm load
I got some Nosler accubond bullets to reload for elk. They are 180gr. and I shoot a 300wsm Tikka T-3. Does anyone have a good load for this bullet for elk.

Off the top of my head, I would say the best load for you would be the one that gives you the best accuracy while staying within the pressure limits of your gun. Probably not much help huh? Sorry, I shoot a 7mm rem mag.

I use the Interbond instead of the Accubond, but I get very good results with RL-19 and WLRM primers.

I have had good luck with H4350 and WLRM primers behind 180gr Sierra Pro-Hunters out of a M77 Ruger.

I'd go for the slower R-22 powder.
It 'll give you longer range power... 180gr bullet in new brass : RE-22 between 65 and 69 gr (69gr will give you 2910 fps) 180gr bullet in 1-3x shot resized brass RE-22 between 66 and 71,2gr (71,2gr will give you the max 3000fps) It is slightly compressed load!! (for hunting go for gentle full size resizing, so the cartridges chamber a bit easier then neck-sized ones, for when that cougar jumps at you.. ) I set the hunting 180gr spitzer at 7.24mm (2.850' OAL) Good luck! go for the lighter loads if your range is less than 250 metres.. |

Ramshot Hunter as proven to be the best powder for both accuracy and velocity in the three 300WSM's I have loaded for.
