H-322 in the .222/.222 Magnum---

Has anybody tried any of the Hodgdon 322 powder in the .222 Remington
or the .222 Magnum with 40,45, or 50gr bullets ?
Aren't they making it in smaller containers of less than 1 pound now ?
Do you think it's better in those cartridges than Benchmark,Blc-2, 4198
and H 335 ?

Thanks

H322 is a fine powder for the 222/223 class of cartridges. I have an 8# jug, and it shoots like gangbusters in my Deuce. I'm using 22.5 gr. with a 50 grainer, and 21.0 with a 55 grain. It leaves more carbon fouling than some other powders like RL7, but the shot to shot consistency and SD is excellent. I like BLC2, but the BLC2 gets saved for the 52 grain Speer loads.
