Good Loads for Std. M1A???
I'm looking for some good loads for the old M1A. I've got a Standard old M1A with a wood stock, not the shorter SOCOM version.
THANKS!!! |

44.5 Gr WW 748BR.
168 Gr Sierra HPBT(M) CCI 200 primer. LC brass. seat bullet to max OAL for .308. *all the usual "don't do it" cautions apply.* Make sure the primer is seated flush or below the case base with the fingernail, or balancing on a piece of glass test, as the semi-auto action is prety hard on case bases & raised primers are a no-no. |
