Mine's a Marlin 30-30 that my grandfather had for many years. Unfortunately it's also the one that took his life. It's a constant reminder of the beauty, power, and danger of firearms.

My M1A Scout, I really don't feel there's a single task that I could foreseeable ask of it that it's not up to.

Right at this moment, my favorite rifle is my 300 AAC Black out I put together on the cheap.
My expectations were not over the top, But it has exceeded every thing I expected. I also found it to be super easy to reload for. Its almost like a no brainer, every load I have tried shoots well. Some shoot great. As a replacement for a M1 carbine its tops. |

Probably my PTR91. She's a heavy old girl, but she gets the job done.
In fact, I cannot remember a rifle I have owned this long. I think I have enjoyed the modifications and whatnot that have occurred over the years as much as I have enjoyed shooting the rifle. She is certainly not my most valuable rifle, but I enjoy the PTR the most. |

Mine is: A bolt varmit special in 22-250. Shot bench rest for years with a custom 6 MM PPC bench rest gun. The bench rest folks went away from the 22's when the 6 PPC came along but I always loved anything in 22.

I have some nice semi autos but my favorite hunting rifles are bolt actions.
My favorite rifle for deer/elk is my Remington 700 bdl 7mm rem mag with a hs precision sporter stock along with a Leupold VXIII 4.5-14x50 LR Illuminated w/30mm tube. For varmints I reach for my Remington 700 bdl 22-250 vssf stainless fluted heavy barrel with a Leupold VXIII 6.5-24X40 EFR w/target turrets |

Easily, my Harvester M1 Garand. Shoots everything I've tried really well with no FTE or FTF. Really an awesome rifle. It;s the only inanimate object I have an emotional attachment to.

My favorite rifle? My M1 Garand, by far. It's never let me down and has even arguably saved my life before from a VERY large bobcat.
