Shooting eyewear help pls.
A friend needs advice re same:Well I have prescription glasses now that are progressive and the viewing
area of both segments of the lenses (near sighted far sighted) are relatively small, so whenever you are in the in between section my vision is blurred. You know when you put your cheek on the stock. Does that ever happen to you? Optimal would be a prescription pair of safety style shooing glasses (maybe yellow tint) that have a small bifocal and a larger for the nearsighted long vision. I will check around too. |

Bifocals, trifocals and progressive lenses don't seem to cut it for shooting.
Especially for anything requiring head movement. At least for me. What does seem to work is two lenses, right and left. One for short distances, for the sights. And the other for long distances, for the target. Somehow the brain combines them well.
