Double Barrel 10? ga. BlackPowder Shotgun
My uncle Mike, who is an advanced gun collector, recently gave my wife a muzzle-loading 10? or 12 gauge double barrel shotgun. It is a Precussion lock piece, with twin hammers and nipples; side by side barrels, and two triggers. Barrel length is approximately 24 inches. There is no visible manufacturer's name nor serial number on this gun...the only markings I found (with the help of a 10x magnifier) is "base7" on the side of the Left hammer. Can anyone tell me how to identify this gun without attempting to dissasemble it?
thanks, TheParson in Texas [email protected] |

Recommend you ask in the Black Powder forum. Provide some pictures and you will surely get some answers.
