Good 870 barrel

Who makes a good (cheap?) 870 barrel. I have a nice 870 now but am in the process of converting it for use for 3-gun/home defense type purposes. With the fore grip, pistol grip - collapsible stock done the only thing I have left is the barrel.

I dont want to cut anything down but the barrel is a 26" model. This way if I ever decide to sell it then the next owner will have the option of a bird gun or tac gun...

yup

MOssberg makes an 18" bead barrel for the 870 that is noteably cheaper than a Rem factory bbl..

I would counsel against cutting a bbl to be used in SD to avoid complications in civil/criminal issues if you ever had to shoot a suspect/aggressor.

My client was shot by the defendant w/ a "sawed off shotgun"

A liberal judge/jury will love that.
