Shell carrier for 870

I have the Knoxx Spec Ops and Power Pack which holds extra shells on my 870. The stock does reduce the recoil of the gun, but I get cheekslap whenever I fire it. I have moved the stock up and down, but I get it everytime. I have a Limbsaver on my Mosseberg 930 SPX, and that also tamed the recoil, but no cheekslap. I am considering selling the Spec ops and putting a Limbsaver on the 870, but also like the idea of a shell carrier. I don't want to use a cheap elastic one, although I know they are OK (I have one on the 930). What is a goog shell carrier that can be more permanently mounted to an 870?

I see they make them in 4, 6 or 8 capacity. Will the 8 extend over the receiver? I took off the standard black forend that came with the gun and replaced it with a shorter, ribbed version.
