I know I'm digging up old threads...but it is relevant to the question asked and also a new development.
I hope the powers that be here on TFL don't mind me doing this but there is a Winchester Owners forum. I found it by accident last night, spoke to the admins and offered to help them moderate the place. http://www.winchesterowners.com/index.php It appears to be about a year old but only has 114 members, they need to get the word out. The staff there have put in quite a bit of work posting reviews and info threads...lots of good stuff posted there on Winchesters. Again...I'm just trying help an upstart forum get off the ground, hoping I don't step on any toes in doing so. Drop by and check them out...I figure Winchesters have to be selling more these days and maybe folks are looking for a community to discuss them. The forum must not have enough traffic yet to show in most searches because I have been digging around the net for anything Winchester for 3 weeks now and just found it last night. |

There are a few , and just a few, student of the Winchester on this forum. I have studied many models for 45 years and have a working knowledge of them. Do you have a particular question?

Me?
Or the OP? He started this thread a long time ago...I just dug it up to try to put the word out about the new forum. I've had some questions about the M70 (the new, FN made ones)...but they have been answered by me getting to shoot 3 different ones. Thanks for asking though |
