This old gun.

I need some help. I have a gun that appears to be fairly old. I do not know if it is actually old or just tarnished. The gun is a single shot .22. And is marked American Bulldog. It does not have grips just a solid frame with some engarving. I can not find anything on this gun and wondered if any of you have encountered one. One reason I believe it is old is the fact it has no serial number.

The name "American Bulldog" or "Bulldog" is usually seen on pocket revolvers; I can find only one case where it was used on a single shot pistol, and that gun was made only in .41 and .44 calibers.

A picture would help, and if there are any other marks, they would also help.
