I recently purchased a gun with an aluminum frame. I want some tips on cleaning the aluminum and removing minor scratches. Hate seeing a gun with scratches. Are there any home remedies regarding removing them.

umstud, if the scratches are into the frame you can sand lightly with 400-600 grit paper. When smooth cover with a permanent marker. If the frame just needs a little touch up the permanent markers work real well. George

Just make sure that when you clean your guns, keep the aluminum away from the Hoppes No. 9. From what I have heard it is corrosive to Alum.

With a Quarter Inch Group on the keyboard an X could be - Z,S,D, or C.
