Wanted New Turkey Shotgun,,,what do u think??
I have had a remington 870 turkey express with a 24 inch barrel and a tru glo choke tube for 10 years. It only shoots up to 3 inch magnum loads and has tru glow turkey sites. I am considering passing this gun down to a newer turkery hunter in my family. I would like to own a new shotgun that wont break the bank that is a turkey killer:
Must have : 3 1/2 inch capability camo pattern pump action tru glow style sites Any Ideas......for a good ole Missouri Turkey hunter??? |

A browning bps nwtf 10 ga would be a good choice and won't break the bank the recoil in the bps 10 ga is not bad due to the weight. if you want a 12 ga look at the mossberg 835 or even the 935 semi auto. My favorite is the rem sp-10 10 ga with thumbhole stock briley tube and fiber optic sights I love this gun it shoots well. Mine was bought new for 1600 dollars including tax. this gun has less recoil than any 12 ga 3.5 inch gun I have ever shot. The bps also is not as bad as most 3.5 inch 12 ga guns I have shot.
good luck jbaham |

It sounds like you want something to really put em down so a BPS 10 or Remington 10ga would be best, alot better to just get a 10 with 3.5 than 12 with 3.5. A 12 with a 3.5 really isnt a good gun imo but the 10ga is great
