swift scopes

Does anyone know anything about Swift rifle scopes?I have been told they are as good as a Leupold but at a fraction of the cost.

That's not my understanding but I could be wrong. I always believed Swift was just a cut rate brand. I think you need to buy quality in a scope because you don't get good optics free. You can never go wrong with the old standbys of Bushnell and Tasco though. I like Burris because its cheaper than Leupold but has optics that are very comparable.

This is a Swift scope.

It's their 1.5-4.5x model, mounted on a .45-70 Ruger #1S rifle. I shoot some serious 405gr handloads, approaching 2000fps, from this lightweight single shot. The Swift hasn't skipped a beat, not too bad for a cut-rate scope on a gun that would beat other scopes to death.
