Newer Scope for a older rifle
I have a Marlin Model 60 .22 that I've had for years and all ways wanted to upgrade the scope (it had the standard tiny .22 scope). Recently I got a inexpensive but decent 4-Power Simmons scope for it.
Before (old scope) [IMG][/IMG] New Scope [IMG][/IMG] Over All View [IMG][/IMG] Comparison (This one was just for fun) [IMG][/IMG] I just put it on and still needs a bit of tweaking but I'm happy with it. |

glad
The sub 1" tubes were still here and there in the 70-80's, but nearly everybody has made the switch to 1" tubes, even on .22's. I screwed my first 1 inch tube on a rimfire rifle (actually a 5mm mag ) about 1981.
Glad you got on board and I bet you are shooting better. |

bamaranger - Funny!
I bought this gun back in the mid-80's (In AZ) and with that tiny scope, I shot a ton of rabbits with it! |

Good play in the musical scopes game - how's it shooting with new scope? An accurate .22 deserves a good scope.
