VIDEO - Shooting the Garand and 1903
VIDEO - Shooting the M1 Garand and 1903
I figure you can never have too many YouTube videos of the Garand and 1903 in action, so here you go. I'm shooting a CMP Collector's Grade Garand from 1955, and a Remington 1903 from 1943. http://youtu.be/veBG3YnyL5w?hd=1 |

I pick nits. Troops weren't issued 1903A3s in WWI. Nice rifles though

Ah...right.
The point though I was making is that the 1903 was the standard issue battle rifle in WW I and the 1903a3 is a variant, but to the vast unwashed masses of YouTubers there is no appreciable difference. But, thanks, I understand your point and realize it and agree with it 100% |

Love the Garand. Mine's a 1943-built Winchester, re-barreled in 1962. Great shooting gun. Thanks for the video.
BTW, have you noticed the price of clips lately? The last gun show I attended, they were asking a buck apiece. For a CLIP! Inflation is out of control. Walter |

I haven't paid much attention to clip prices. I have about 3,000 rounds on clips, in bandos, so I'm all set for clips for, well, forever.
