Comanche Revolvers

I happened to come across the comanche website just browsing and was looking at their revolvers. Are these things for real? Why are they so inexpensive? They come in .22lr,.38 spl,.357,and .410/.45lc,and their prices range from $158 to $257.Are these things true saturday night specials,or are they half way decent like Taurus or other mid grade handguns?Anyone have experience with these guns?

There are NO free rides to quality. You pay for what you get, and shouldn't expect more than you pay for.

The good thing about them is that if the law ever took the gun as evidence after a shooting, you'd probably get it back.

If you ever get the chance to hold one in your hands you'll know why they're so inexpensive. On the other hand the distributors are constantly sold out so I guess they're selling well.

Buy one, and tell us when it breaks.

I'm not speaking from experience here, but, I've never read anything good about these guns. The .357 magnum, in particular, seems to be derided as a true p.o.s. Speaking personally, I'm sure not going to put myself at risk firing a magnum round that out of something that no one likes or thinks is reliable.

I personally saw some on display at the NRA meeting/gun show in Reno which was, what, 2004 I think?

They were beyond merely "horrible". They appeared to have been assembled by drunken syphilitic chimpanzees who were mainlining crack cocaine while on a rollercoaster with one bad wheel, while armed with chisels and mallets.
