I have been thinking about getting a youth-stocked shotgun for my kids. I was going to get a 20g, and let them shoot light loads, but a few of my friends have been saying to get a .410. One of the first things I noticed about this idea was that the ammo is twice as expensive as other guages.Does anybody have a source for inexpensive ammo, or does it not exist. (must I reload for yet another calilber?)

There are some foreign brands becoming available now that make .410's. They are cheaper than the American made stuff but still are expensive. I really like and shoot .410's allot so I ended up reloading for mine. Cheap to load for, less than an oz. of shot and not much powder makes for a cheap reload.
