Second thread with more questions
Hi guys.
I've been looking online and found some really cool rifles. The one I like the most is the Browning BAR m1918. Me living at Curacao has been the only real reason that I've never gotten into owning a firearm. This being the Law and Civil rights forum I wanted to ask; Does anyone know the rules and requirements to buy and own firearm at Curacao. Also what do I need to do before I ask for my permit ? |

Welcome to TFL, Albert Jr.!
As much as I'd like to answer your question, I haven't the foggiest clue. Most TFL members are US residents, and I'm unaware of any others from Curacao. (Not that I've searched through our members' locations to look, mind you.) Naturally, if any TFL members are from Curacao or are aware of its laws, I hope they'll chime in with some information. Are there any nearby gun stores where you could just ask?

Thankyou for your reply and I hope they'll chime in too.
There aren't any stores at Curacao, only a few stores that sell pellet rifle but even they don't have a clue. I know one man though who can help but even though he deals in arms, he doesn't like to talk about them. He's a good friend of my uncle but he doesn't like talking with my uncle about it either. |

Might it be worth your while to consult an attorney? A quick google search turned up these guys, who have a Curacao office: http://stvb.an/laws.htm# (Mind you, I have no connection to them and cannot vouch for them. They just turned up on the internet.)
