Scouting/Hunting Trip
I took my son Brendan out to scout for deer sign on Friday in anticipation of his second big game hunt (his first deer hunt) next weekend. We went prepared with a Remington 870 (for turkey or squirrel) and a Marlin 25MN for squirrel. We had a fine day, and while we were at it he bagged his first bushytail with the Marlin. Saw a lot of deer sign too. Next weekend promises to be a good one, I hope.
