Anyone Else Using Tweezers (Big Tweezers) to Handle Casings?

My fingers don't seem to work quite as well as they did a few decades ago. I've discovered, that for me, tweezers speed up the reloading process. I use 6-inch stainless steel "bent" tweezers to handle casings through belling the case mouth. For charging, seating and crimping, I use 6-inch "spring-tensioned" tweezers. For these, I've bent the tips round and coated the tips with "Plasti Dip". The same tweezers will handle 9mm through .45 ACP.

You mean there are people out there that actually TOUCH the cases when they reload??

I do mine by hand but if there is ever I reason I can't, then I like your idea. Good job!

Great idea---looks like it works for you.

I have not resorted to tweezers yet, but I certainly considered
it for 32 ACP on my Dillon 550. Finger pinching %$#&^ setting
cases and bullets in that caliber!

I use a pair of forceps. They work great and go places my pudgy little fingers can't.

I know a loader who handles his primers with forceps so he runs no risk of contaminating them with skin oils and causing misfires.

In my single stage days, I used to handle them with no misfires recorded, but whatever it takes to keep his confidence up.

Big fat fingers here. Use tweezers all the time for primers or whenever I drop a case down inside my Lee Classic Turret, which is wayyyy too often!

Tweezers seem cumbersome. But... I did have to buy new loading trays to keep from losing .32 S&W in the holes of my old one and having to dig them out with needle-nose pliers.

I do, to ensure that I do not get any finger prints or DNA on it.

Lee Loadmaster case feeder for the pistol calibers. But I feed by hand for rifle.
