Carrying in my car. AL/GA

I have an Alabama CCW permit. I work right over the state line in GA. I know that Im safe carrying while driving, etc. But what about while Im at work? Signs are posted No Weapons Allowed past gates. But I dont go past the gates. I park in the parking lots. Can anyone tell me if Security or LEO have the right to search my vehicle while at work? I mean my gun is locked up and out of sight in my car. Any info? Forget the Laws.... Its all jibber jabber to me. Any plain talk info?
