take a guess!!

Just ordered a chronograph from midway. Will finally see what my hanloads are doing.

Throw some guesses out there and let's see who's close.

First a a Remington 700 adl 30-06 with a 165 grain SST with CCI magnum primer and 57.5 grains of h4350.

Next is a model 70 super shadow 270 wsm with a 150 grain SST backed by 68 grains of magpro and a CCI magnum primer.

Both rifles have 24 inch barrel

Come on fellow shooters. Whoever guesses closest I will give a box of 200 grain 308 diameter sierra hollow point boat tail match bullets.

Let's see who does their homework.

Not going to shoot the chrono! I have a plan in place it is simple as long as you do it right. But simple to me could be complex to others. Or maybe I am jynx myself. We shall see should be here friday. Second day shipping and midway shipped it today

The real question is: Which Chrony did you buy? And does it have one or two sensors?

The 30-06 load is actually pretty close to mine. I use IMR 4350 which is about the same and my barrels are 26 inch and velocities run around 29,850 FPS. I'm gonna say yours will run 29,800.

The .30-06 I'm guessing 2965 fps
The .270 I'm guessing 3125 fps

Good luck.
(And take a video so if you do shoot your brand new, highly anticipated chrono, we can all watch it over and over and over ect...)
