Mystery rifle--Czech?

Recently saw this rifle at an auction and was curious about it. Looks a little like a VZ-33.

Anyone venture a guess as to what this is? It was listed as being "7 x 57"--but I'm not putting too much stock in that.

It might be Czech, but better information is needed to be sure. Since 7x57 was one of the common calibers for commercial military Mausers, I would have no reason to doubt the seller on that score. It looks like a nice rifle.

It looks like the VZ-24, 7mm, south american contract rifles the CZ made in limited numbers. That one is in better shape than the ones I've seen lately. I've seen them between $150 and $250.

It does look similar to a VZ-24. It has a turned down bolt handle and the stock is cutout for the bolt handle, though. Also, it appears to have a shorter barrel than the VZ-24.
