went against my plans today
well i did it again, i plan something and i some how go the other way. i told myself the the other day, i said self you got to get ammo so don't get another gun. i have several hundred rounds of 12 gauge ammo but as you know you never have enough. i went to wal mart to get some today as they have federal field loads of 6-7.5 shot with 1 1/8 oz of shot for $4.96 a box. when i got to sporting goods they were unboxing a gun getting it ready to display. it was a h&r pardner pump protector, and as i looked at it i just had to ask how much? when they told me $159.00 well my ammo will wait till next time. i get the gun home clean it and fire it and its awesome, so i just had to tell ya'll my will power sucks when it comes to my plans. thanks

I did the same thing two days ago.
I went to get cases for my 3 weapons. (2 .22's and a Mosin.) So I walk in and go look at the cases. And as usual, the shotguns were calling my name. I saw a single shot break action shotgun. 12 ga by Rossi. $100. I couldnt say no... So I walked out of there with a new shotgun, 3 cases and 100 rds 12 ga. ammo. You can only imagine the look on the Security Forces faces at the gate. I was just getting back from a weekend with the family. Cant wait to get my first pistol in 1 1/2 years. (Oh... and I just joined the NRA......... FINALLY!!! )

The H&R pump is a lot like an 870 in design and function. Should serve you well!
