People might tell U that "x" light is brighter. But I have one. I've had an M3 light in the past. I like the Glock light. It works well and matches the pistol. Got mine for my Glock 34. Nary a problem w/ it.

Kenneth,

I've been doing some research for awhile now. I finally decided that I wanted a laser/light combo that I could mount on any of my several weapons with picatinny rails.

I settled on the Streamlight TLR-2. I am absolutely sure I made the right choice. It is pricey, at about $240 (ebay). But in my mind it is money well spent.

I have written a personal review of the TLR-2 (with pics) that can be found here.

I know this isn't about the Glock Light. I'm sure it is a fantastic light as well. I just thought I would pass along my thoughts regarding this particular item. Hope you don't mind.

I had the XML light and sold it to get a Glock Light. The glock light fits my XD very nicely, but will not fit my Smith M&P pistol. I think the Glock Light is the brightest out of the bunch. Not sure who monitors brightness and companies claims of lumes power. I bought a Browning Ice Flash light that was suppose to have 90 Lumes, but my 65 Lumes Surefire was much brighter.

www.budsgunshop.com is where I bought my light.

TLR for me...

I prefer the Streamlight TLR LED's. I have 2 TLR 1's, as well as an M3. Seems like the biggest problem with the Glock light would be getting a holster for it. I have two holsters (in addition to duty gear) that will accomodate the Streamlight lights.
