[QUOT=Nails]My wife is 105 lbs and the Monfeltro is the weapon of choice for petite or small frame women....[/QUOTE]My wife is also slight of build. I won't mention her weight on the World Wide Web, but she once had to lie about her weight in order to be allowed to donate blood.

When she started learning to shoot trap, her first shotgun was a Benelli Montefeltro in 20 gauge. She loved the gun and did very well with it. She has since moved up to a Perazzi MX14 in 12 gauge for trap, but still uses her Benelli for pheasant.

with minimum recoil and preferably light weight.
Mutually exclusive wishes

Get her the HEAVIEST gun SHE can successfully handle and shoot the lightest loads that will work it - most pump guns do not weight near what an O/U or semi does. Even more important than weight is FIT - it matters nothing if it does not fit her properly - and that means more than just the LOP. Getting her fitted would be the wisest thing to do before even looking at various models and types

Best shotgun for a 95lb woman
Shame! As difficult as women can get, there is no excuse for using a gun on one; especially a shotgun.
