1908 dwm contract mauser question
hello, I am trying to find out if anyone knows of any 1908 dwm contract mauser factory sniper versions exist? were these rifles ever fitted with a period scope? if so were there variations? what about scope mounts?

Argentina had a Model 1909 Sniper rifle which was the Model 1908 with a German made (contract) scope and mounts. But I think they were put together in Argentina, not made at the factory as sniper rifles.
There are pictures in Ball's book, and a discussion here: http://forums.gunboards.com/showthread.php?t=657 Jim |
