The two WM's by me sell RCBS reloading equipment, components, factory ammo and rifles. Usually high on everything but the rifles.

Buy from your local gun store. Even thought they may be a few bucks higher they and their employees spend and return the dollars back to the community. Not back to Arkansas.
I couldn't agree more with this statement. The idea of buying gun related items from such an antigun organization as Wal-mart is just simply ridiculous as long as there are quality local gun stores in the area. I can certainly understand the guy who may have a Wal-mart within 5 miles of his house but the nearest gun shop is 50 miles away, and all he needs is a pound of powder. However, for the vast majority of us that's not the case at all.

Seriously, ditch Wal-mart and buy from your local gun store. A lot of the nice old gun shops in Anchorage are now gone, and it's truly a shame.

I like to support the local gun shops over the big box stores (like Sportsmans Warehouse, Cabelas, etc) and I prefer to support the big box stores over Walmart. However, I must admit that I like the fact that many Walmarts around me carry reloading supplies. The more stores that enable reloading, the better.

The grand total of reloading components I've purchased from Walmart is... one single pound of Reloder-22 since SW & the local shops were sold out.

Also, I do like the idea of having the wife send me to Walmart to pick some things up and being able to sneak a pound of powder onto the receipt. I don't shop at Walmart much and have yet to do it, but the thought has crossed my mind.

A few years ago while on vacation we stopped at the Wal-Mart in Gaylord Michigan, and they had reloading supplies in the sporting goods section. I preferred to do my shopping at Jay's Sporting Goods, which is a family run business with two stores in Michigan, one in Gaylord and the main store in Clare.

However, I don't object to anyone buying firearms or reloading supplies at Wal-Mart; it's easy for a small local gun shop to be closed down, a little more difficult for someone to shut down the big box stores.
