Pink Floyds are gone from forums. All Floyds are yellow. Forum Summary page still has red crosshairs. Have to enter username and password for new posts and edits. Set preferences - no help. Re-enter TFL - no help. Reboot - no help.

I want my membership fee back.

Sooooooooo Dennis conned you into paying a fee too huh? (just kidding)

Flush your browser cache and delete the browser history. You may have to find and manually delete all your cookie files. THEN come back in and reset your preferences.

In something totally unrelated, I see that one of the cabel/satellite channels is going to simulcast Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon with The Wizard of Oz sometime this month. Don't remember which channel but the host is Robert Osborne, perhaps Turner Classic Movies?
Apparantly the storylines are very similar and sync very well. If you have SAP on your TV you can watch The Wizard of Oz and listen to Dark Side of the Moon.
Should be interesting, to say the least.

sensop, so your cookies have you up against The Wall, eh? Wondering if There's Anybody Out There, got you saying Ummagumma to yourself? Just do what RAE said, he certainly had A Saucerful of Secrets there, and you won't have to Meddle with them any More.

Every time this happens, it can be traced to a power surge....usually a lightning strike preceeded by The Delicate Sound of Thunder.

Holy Deity! What a goat thump!

Okay. Dumped URL history folder contents. Deleted all TFL references in Cookies.txt. ALL references. Even the old ###.##.##.# address from the server move. Rebooted. Dialed up and went to TFL. Noticed the little red balls at the front door don't do the little indent "toggle" as the cursor passes over them anymore ...? Entered forums. Went to preferences and deleted cookies set by TFL. Reset Preferences. No dice. Reboot again. Go to TFL. Same-O.

All folders still yellow. A damned sickly looking yellow, too, I might add.

It's not the end of the world, but something's broke and the anal retentive side of me can't stand it. TFL says the last time I visited was July 2. The most aggravating thing is having to type in my username and password for every post and edit. That means ... what?? No preferences are set? Hell, I don't know. I'm tired of dickin' with it. I've done everything I know to do.

LONG LIVE ROCK 'N' ROLL!!!... by God!

FOR THE RECORD ... java script must be enabled. That solved the mystery. In Netscape it is under EDIT\PREFERENCES\ADVANCED ... check the box "Enable JavaScript". I don't know if the "Enable Java" box needs to be checked, but it is now.

I had turned off the java crap because I had gone to another BB (ezboard) and the posticons and emoticons and personal pics and various imported cute crap in each post was slowing things down. So I disabled it. Live and learn.

Username and password loss was probably due to the cookie wash here and on hard drive. After submit preferencess and one post, ... back to normal. Sheesh!
