Pink Film
What is that pink film that looks like corrosion on brass?

Cartridge brass is roughly 70% copper and 30% zinc, IIRC. Exposure to acid can leach (dissolve) the zinc out of the brass, leaving the copper. I think this is the most common cause of the pink coloring.

If female, Only if the pink is a different shade from your pink pistol.
If male, well you'll catch comments from your fellow shooters.
