What happens if you lose your stamp?

This doesn't apply to me, but what happens if you lose your transfer paperwork with your stamp? Can it be replaced?

just curious.

A little off topic

I just did an Eform for a new SBR. Im told that with an eform submision you no longer get a "hard copy" stamp.

A PDF version that you print will be avail online when its approved.

Who would have thought the U.S. Govt would come into the 20th century.... Much less the 21st

The ATF doesn't replace tax stamps, but they will send a photocopy on request.

I made several copies of the approved paperwork the minute I got it back from the ATF. One copy with the weapon, one copy with the suppressor, one copy for the safe and the original in a safety deposit box. You really can't have too many.

I scanned and save all my stamps fornt and back and store them on a hard drive.

Also have a binder with ALL my NFA paperwork, letters, trust, etc.

Copies stored in my file box in the safe...
