Does any one know...
To all
A bit of background: The pre- 1964 model 94 Wichester has a removeable lower tang s/n 2,500,00 to 4,840,000-. They also a flat trigger spring On the post 1964 the same model with s /n's above 4,850,000 have a coiled trigger springand a removeable lower tang.Okay, have you got that? My problem is that I have a model 94 s/n3,xxx,xxx and I want to upgrade it to a coiled trigger spring by putting a newer lower tang on it. Does ANY BODY KNOW FOR SURE if the lower tang froma s/n of 4,580,000 or higher will fit on a lower s/n model? Dont tell me to contact Winchester,I did .All I got out of a smart a====== was a diatribe of why did I want to do it . Thanks for any support tbc [email protected] .

Right off the top of my head I don't know. There may be more involved than just the dimensions. You might contact Brownells tech support staff www.brownells.com. If they know they'll certainly give you an answer. George
