Ithaca 200E and slugs?

This is my first post here after lots of reading through the forums. My question is, is it ok to shoot slugs out of this gun? It's a 12 gauge. I want to use it to shoot hogs at night, I have a Winchester M70 in .308 that's great for hogs but it's hard to see them through the scope in low light or at night.

No, it's not suitable, due to the chromed bores and fixed chokes.

FWIW, 12ga H&R/NEF Pardner II slug guns w/rifling & rifle sights are only about $100 in good/used condition.
