I like the 590 - I picked a 50665 speedfeed/parkarized/bead sight over a remington 870 and never looked back. Excellent shotgun, great finish, perfect weight IMO, and the speedfeed is definitely neat. Budsgunshop.com had the best price when I was looking, but they were sold out so I had to pay a little more. I think it came in at $450 when it was all said and done - definitely not to bad.

I bought both the Mossberg 590 and later the 500 combo so I would be able to have a 590 and have a 500 6 shot that you can use any type of barrel on. So far I have the 18 1/2 and the 28 inch barrel. I am very happy with both guns.
My 590 is blued and has a speedfeed stock, heatsheild and a sling. My 500 is also blued and has a speedfeed stock that I bought on ebay for $20 This was the way I decided to get to the most Mossberg 500-590 versatility. |

None of the above...
None of the above...Remington 870 Express 18" model with a 7 shot magazine extension and the Knoxx recoil reducing stock. Best HD shotgun on the market. It can adjust to any shooter, and the recoil is light enough for the wife thanks to the recoil reducing stock. It makes a scary gun, very user friendly. Yes, they make them for the Moss. www.knoxx.com
