Anyone use the inexpensive Lee Reloader Press for bullet pulling?
I have to pull a few thousand .308 bullets and was wondering if the inexpensive Lee Reloader Press will do the trick. Anyone use one?

I use an older Lee O type press with the RCBS collet puller. It works very well. You shouldn't have any trouble with that press either.
I do have some issues with the Lee turret press though. Sometimes cannot get the collet tight enough because the turret wants to spin while tightening. |

locolife,
Yes, it definitely WILL work. In fact, it's WAY overkill for that job. I also use an RCBS collet-type bullet-puller. Ths particular press is great for loading pistol cases. Mine is mainly used as a dedicated de-priming station using a Lyman Universal Depriming Die, but when I need to pull bullets, I use it for that, too. -- John D. |

Yes, with the Hornady bullet pulling die. Works very well.

The force required to pull bullets we use to reload isn't much. However if you're pulling heavily crimped, sealed military ball ammo, it would be a bit harder. Still, that lee press is plenty strong enough to take it.

as Benedict said get a hornady puller.it eliminates the problem of the die loosening.use it and you wont go back to rcbs type.
